We accept many insurance products, and have agreements with some Independent Practice Associations, or IPAs, who may be the intermediary for the payment for our services.
If you would like to check if VaPRNet accepts your particular insurance before your surgery, please contact us via R.C. McLean, our business and billing associate. Depending on the type of insurance product, the patient may still be required to make a payment if their deductible has not been met or a copay is required.
Pre-Payment
Pre-Payment for anesthesia services for specific surgical procedures
can be made on a ‘cash’ discounted basis, as noted below. Fees for these anesthesia services are based on
the nature of the planned surgery. If you have questions about these fees, please call VaPRNet at 714-847-6961.
Credit Card
If you would like to pre-pay with your credit card, at least 48 hours prior to your
surgery contact Allegra via telephone at 714-347-1003 (or Jackie at -1077 if Allegra is unavailable) between the
hours of 8 AM and 4 PM, and tell her that you would like to pay for your VaPRNet anesthesia services via credit card.
Kindly give your name, your surgeon’s name, and date of surgery, and then you will be prompted to give the necessary
credit card information. Mastercard and Visa are accepted.
Personal or Bank Checks
Checks
for anesthesia services must be generated prior to surgery, and are best given to the surgeon on your last pre-surgical visit,
and then he or she can assure that it reaches your anesthesiologist. VaPRNet prepaid mailing envelopes are available
from your surgeon also. Checks may be either from personal accounts, or may be bank checks or money orders if you prefer.
Checks should be made out to “VaPRNet Anesthesiology Network” or simply “VaPRNet”.
Via the Internet
Go to this secured link right now to pay via the internet. Simply
follow the instructions given, enter the anesthesiology fee quoted to you by your surgeon for your particular surgery and
your credit card information. Please be sure to enter the patient's name, the surgeon's name and the date of surgery in
the "Reference ID" box. If you need a receipt for this
transaction please call Barbara at 714-347-1006. Be sure to advise your surgeon's office and your anesthesiologist that
you have paid with this method. Mastercard and Visa are accepted.
